Softball and Baseball Split Games in Early Week Action

The Bears and Lady Bears split games in early week action. Because of the rain and cold this past weekend, games were played on both Monday and Tuesday. The Lady Bears defeated Yantis to secure the top spot on the 1A side of the district and the Bears defeated Cumby 17-2! to take the season sweep of the Trojans. Softball fell to Rivercrest on Tuesday and baseball lost against NH on Monday.

Play resumes today weather permitting – Softball @ North Hopkins and baseball at home against Campbell.
