Sulphur Bluff ISD welcomes you to our website and invites you to share with us the success of our students. As stewards of our student's educational future, I will promote academic excellence and high expectations for all students as well as teachers, parents, and community leaders. We hope this new site will continue to improve and expand as we strive to offer a useful tool for parents, students, and the community. Sulphur Bluff is a great community and I am proud to be a part of this district and community. I have over 20 years experience as a school administrator, and have served as a superintendent the past two years. Before I became an administrator, I coached for nine years at different locations. I graduated high school from Leonard, TX and pursued a teaching degree from East Texas State University where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, History, and Health. I received my Masters of Education from Tarleton State University in Educational Administration and my Superintendent Certification at A&M Commerce. Some of my career accomplishments are as follows:
My wife, Kayla and I have four children, Rodney, Lori, Kylie, and Christopher. We have three grandchildren, Chance whom is 9 yrs old, Rylan, whom is 3 yrs old and Emma who is less than 1 yrs old. We are very excited to be near our children and other family. I extend my gratitude to all of the wonderful people in our community for making my family feel welcomed. My goal is to continue the educational goals of our school and further the great tradition of Sulphur Bluff ISD. I am looking forward to the future and have a vision for Sulphur Bluff that will provide the highest quality education possible for every student. |
